It’s a very easy and spicy recipe which can be paired with some steamy rice, so let’s make it!

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 cardamon
- 1 tsp cumin/jeera
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tbsp besan
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup peas
- 15 Paneer cubes
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi (roasted and crushed)
Onion Tomato Paste Preparation:
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 tbsp oil
Procedure
- In a pan, heat the oil and saute the spices until the aroma spreads.
- Add chili powder, besan, turmeric and roast well.
- Add the onion tomato paste. Mix well and cover it for a minute to slow cook.
- Add the cumin and coriander powder. Mix well and now, add the cup of water and stir well.
- Add peas and stir well. Cover the lid for 15 minutes until the peas soften.
- Add paneer cubes. Slow cook for a minute.
- Now add the garam masala and kasuri methi.
Your spicy paneer is ready! Serve it with some rice or roti.
