Spicy Potato Salad

A mouth watering Indian starter relished with hung curd.

Ingredients

  1. 4 medium sized potatoes
  2. 1 onion (chopped)
  3. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1 cup green peas (shelled)
  5. 2 green chillies (chopped)
  6. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  7. Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  8. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  9. 2 tbsp curd
  10. 1 tbsp green coriander
  11. 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  12. 1/2 tsp chat masala powder

Procedure

  • Prick the potatoes with a fork. Add 1 cup of water and boil covered at 100% power for 7-8 minutes.
  • Keep it in another microwave safe bowl. Allow to stand (covered) for 5 minutes. Peel & cut into small pieces.
  • Microwave oil in a microwave safe bowl at 100% power for 30 seconds.
  • Add onion, green chillies & microwave for 2 minutes at 100% power.
  • Mix all the ingredients & microwave for 1 minute at 100% power.
  • Garnish with green coriander.

Serve hot and enjoy with some curd.
